How we all should feel about Israel vs Palestine.

There is something profoundly wrong with you if you cheer, celebrate or justify any and every time you see news coverage on another attack whether it be a bombing, shooting, kidnapping or just some good old violent rioting that hides behind the label of a protest. And these attacks I'm referring to are not exclusive to any one side. If you dig deep enough you are sure to find some type of assault committed by someone somewhere on both sides.

Most people always get defensive, angry and upset when the attacks are against whoever they side or identify with. fueling them with hate. However when these attacks are against the opposing side many feel relief, vindicated and even happy about it. people will make posts on their social media with captions like "good for them" or "they deserved it".

Whenever this happens is a tell tale sign that we as a society(humanity), are not nearly as civilized as we think. To be truly civilized, one would always feel compassion towards any individual or group of people that suffer. To be truly civilized, one would think and hope for a way to end the suffering. Unfortunately, that's not what we do nor who we are.

The world today is stuck in a "revenge" mentality. If we all think like this we will never find peace, instead, we will only continue to feed the self destructing spiral that we are currently in. It is time to start thinking with love and compassion towards each other, not only each other but animals as well.

All I can do is my individual part, in hope that I can affect others with the love frequency. A frequency so strong that it is able to change the world as it ripples throughout. This is me doing my part. Please do yours. Start replacing the anger and hate in your heart with love. let it reflect by the words you speak, the comments you make, and the way you treat others.
